Table with trestle legs: an apparent lightness
August, dining table designed by Roberto Lazzeroni, is a reference to the "complex simplicity" of trestle tables. Born as solid work tools around the mid-20th century, over time they found their space as design pieces in our homes. The top is available in different sizes and a variety of materials including marble and wood, made light thanks to the thin top. The support trestles, connected to each other in patinated bronze with a slightly curved wooden crosspiece, reflects the aesthetics that inspire the table. The legs are available with a glossy lacquered finish or in heat-treated oak-stained ash which can be combined with different tops, further expanding the potential for compositional customisation: glossy and matt elements create unique and personal visual combinations that change the product's appeal and adapt it to multiple contexts.
