FERRUCCIO LAVIANI

Architect and designer Ferruccio Laviani was born in Cremona in 1960. He attended the Milan Polytechnic, gaining a degree in Architecture in 1986. He also gained a diploma from the Scuola Politecnica di Design in Milano in 1984. In 1983, he began working for Michele de Lucchi, becoming a partner in 1986. He opened his own studio in 1991, focusing on product design, interior design, art direction and graphic design, as well as designing showrooms, exhibition spaces and stands. He has collaborated with leading design and fashion brands, including Kartell, Flos, Foscarini, Moroso, Richard Ginori, Dolce&Gabbana, Missoni, Emilio Pucci, Panasonic, Martini&Rossi, Veuve Cliquot and Swarovski. He looks after exhibitions for Memphis, Cosmit, Forum-Triton and Brazil. He designed the Popsi lounge chair and the Tod pouf for Lema.
