Italian design to New York: among the protagonists of the "Italian Design: from Classic to Contemporary" project
Lema lands in New York to take part in Bloomingdale’s project "Italian Design: from Classic to Contemporary”, a celebration of Made in Italy running from September 4 to 29. This event highlights the impact of Italian design on global luxury, fashion, culture, and gastronomy through a series of activities and installations. One of New York City's most iconic department stores is hosting a pop-up dedicated to Made in Italy furnishings: Salone del Mobile.Milano is the exclusive partner for the special installation, curated by Ferruccio Laviani and inspired by Giorgio de Chirico and Italian piazzas, emphasizing the heritage and creativity of Salone del Mobile.Milano and its companies. Lema is showcasing the Alton armchair by David Lopez Quincoces, a piece distinguished by its attention to detail and the unique craftsmanship of its backrest, made with over 200 meters of hand-wrapped aged natural leather cord.
