PIERO LISSONI

Art director of Lema since 1994, Piero Lissoni is an architect and designer considered one of the masters of contemporary design. Founder of the Lissoni&Partners studio, he has been developing international architecture, interior, product design and graphic design projects for over thirty years.

Today based in Milan and New York, the studio mixes different skills with a holistic and sartorial approach thanks to which it stands out in different ambitions, maintaining a highly recognizable stylistic signature and visual identity. Marked by rigor and simplicity, the studio's works are separated by attention to detail, coherence and elegance with particular attention to proportions and harmony.

Among the most important architectural and interior projects are Dorothea Hotel in Budapest (2023), hotel AKA Nomad in New York, Shangri-La Shougang Park in Beijing (2021) built for the 2022 Winter Olympics, The Ritz-Carlton Residences in Miami Beach (2020), Grand Park Hotel in Rovinj in Croatia (2019 ), the restyling of the historic Camparino in Galleria in Milan (2019), The Middle House of the Swire Hotel group in Shanghai (2018), the residential projects One Paraiso and Grand Paraiso in Miami (2018), The Oberoi Al Zorah Beach Resort Ajman in the United Arab Emirates (2017), the interiors of a series of yachts for Sanlorenzo, Conservatorium Hotel in Amsterdam (2012).

Piero Lissoni has received numerous awards, including the Good Design Award, the Red Dot Award and the ADI Compasso d'Oro. Over the years, he has designed numerous projects for Lema and, as art director, coordinates the development and updating of all the modular systems and Lema Casa collections together with OfficinadesignLema.
