The essence of the Novelist desk, designed by Christophe Pillet, lies in its name - inspired by the great creatives of times gone by. Striking a delicate balance between simplicity and complexity, Novelist’s materials and aesthetics incorporate a contemporary feel to what is an elegant piece that can take centre stage in any space. The base features two criss-crossed legs in shiny chrome-plated metal, supporting the stunning Canaletto walnut top. Despite its reduced thickness, the top features two-side drawers and a stationery compartment, while the handrest in hide underlines the retro feel.
