Stunning mirror blurs the line between reality and fantasy

With its fairy-tale inspiration, Vanity uses inclines to create optical illusions and offer the ultimate expression of the concept of vanity. Only the top-most edge of the oversized shiny stainless steel frame comes into contact with the wall, with the rest of it not touching; the mirror itself is in fact mounted to the wall, however, which creates an intriguing, 3D effect. The person reflected in the mirror is framed by the serigraph border, which becomes one of the defining features of this piece, evoking classic influences and underlining Lema’s trademark attention to detail. Though originally designed for the bedroom, Vanity works well in other rooms of the house thanks to its elegant, generous forms.
