LEMA Contract

Lema Contract is able to manage large tailor-made orders by integrating every project phase, from concept to the development of prototypes and mock-ups up to logistics and final installation. The “bespoke” service represents a distinctive value of Lema Contract: in the development of each project, the client finds in Lema a prepared partner who provides a technical team capable of interpreting and translating every aesthetic and functional requirement. Every project is unique and unrepeatable: the idea on paper takes shape, the concept translates into furniture, furnishings, accessories, special pieces. The experience gained over the years allows to establish methods, times, and costs by supporting the client in the feasibility analysis of the overall project, not only for the supply of furniture and furnishings but also for structural setups. An additional plus is represented by after-sales assistance that guarantees continuity and availability of materials over time as well as tailored interventions for any project updates.

Bespoke: each project has its own path of ideation and realization with a dedicated team

Since 2004, Lema has opened, with a 25,000 sqm facility, a new headquarters fully dedicated to Contract with internal production and specialized personnel dedicated to bespoke “turnkey” projects of large international orders. Lema Contract is able to interpret the market evolution and respond to customer needs thanks to a specialized division where the skills of traditional craftsmanship combine with the use of cutting-edge technologies and industrial-scale processing.

Processes

1

Initial project approach

Lema is contacted by the Interior Designer/Developer/Architect: thanks to deep technical know-how, it analyzes and outlines the project, client requests and expectations.
2

Investigation

In this phase, all financial and technical information are defined and discussed with the client. Preliminary drawings, estimates, alternative proposals for materials, components, and samples are selected and examined with the client.
3

Engineering

This is the phase of developing executive projects. Thanks to deep technical expertise, LEMA is able to adapt and refine the project: a fine-tuning of materials and details capable of satisfying every specific technical, functional, and aesthetic requirement of the original project.
4

Project Plan

During this phase, all project elements are identified and positioned (bedroom, bathroom, reception area, etc…). A Bill of Materials (BOM) is produced for each individual space.
5

Creation of Assembly Procedure

For each area, the assembly procedure is established and codified, including scheduling the preparation times of each single element. A strategic phase to ensure continuous monitoring of work in progress.
6

Production

All Lema products, both standard and custom, are strictly made in Italy. Production, which meets the most rigorous UK quality standards, is concentrated in the two headquarters in Alzate Brianza, home of Lema Casa, where all standard collections are made, and Giussano, home of Lema Contract, where custom projects are created.
7

Logistics

A crucial phase of every project. LEMA is able to directly manage large volumes of finished products in the two Italian headquarters, guaranteeing the capacity and flexibility to meet specific site requests at any time, quickly adapting to changes in the delivery plan. LEMA UK also has two logistics hubs near London to ensure direct “Just in Time” deliveries. To ensure maximum quality, each product corresponds to specific packaging.
8

Assembly and Installation

Individual furniture pieces are delivered respecting the project timeline. The Site Manager directly oversees all assembly phases to ensure maximum efficiency. LEMA UK’s Contract division directly manages every phase offering a turnkey service: from defining the installation plan to verifying site logistics, from supervising all assembly activities to the final inspection.
9

After-Sales Service

The service provided by Lema does not end with the delivery and installation of furniture but continues over time thanks to careful after-sales service. Whether it is repairs or integrations of existing projects, Lema UK’s Contract team guarantees maximum professionalism and continuity of production techniques of products and finishes used.
