Today, the building has been sensitively reimagined as The Derby London City Hotel, part of the Curio Collection by Hilton: a boutique destination that engages with its historical legacy while offering a contemporary hospitality experience. The project embodies a measured balance between past and present, where the original architectural character coexists with modern comfort.

LEMA UK worked closely with the client, the developer, and the architectural design team to deliver a complete package of bespoke furniture and joinery for the hotel’s rooms and suites. As the sole contract partner, LEMA provided a turnkey solution including custom joinery, beds, wardrobes, TV units, desks, and bathroom furnishings, all specifically designed for the project.

Each element was designed to engage with the building’s spatial language, combining balanced proportions, warm materials, and integrated functionality. The interiors evoke the understated elegance of historic London architecture, while introducing the formal clarity and design precision of Italian craftsmanship—a testament to LEMA’s Made in Italy manufacturing expertise.
