In Milan, the Princype residential complex redefines the concept of sustainable urban architecture. Designed by Studio Marco Piva, the project stems from the redevelopment of the via Principe Eugenio area, transforming a hidden corner into a new scenario of city life, dynamic and harmonious.
Princype Eugenio, Milan
The eleven-story building combines the rigor of Milanese rationalism with a contemporary vision made of light, transparency, and shifting geometries. The balanced play of solids and voids gives the facade a vibrant architectural rhythm, while the large green terraces recall the tradition of historic residences, reinterpreted in a modern key as a natural extension of the domestic space. A fundamental element of the project is sustainability: a completely gas-free building, powered by heat pumps, photovoltaic systems, and equipped with electric charging stations.
Inside, the spaces – defined in collaboration with Milano Contract District – are furnished with Lema collections that coherently interpret the spirit of the project: balance between functionality and beauty, between comfort and design. From the modular volumes of the Yard sofa to the sculptural elegance of the Alton armchair, from the delicacy of the Felix to the formal purity of the Picolit bed, every element contributes to creating environments that reflect a sophisticated, fluid, and personal lifestyle.
Princype is thus more than a building: it is a manifesto of aesthetics and sustainability, where architecture and furniture merge into a single vision of contemporary living signed by Lema.
