An ambitious project, in which the builder Henderson Land wanted to create an extremely comfortable and harmonious living space, involving international talents in design and architecture. An architectural masterpiece characterized by innovative design and a strong focus on sustainability, rich in green areas, services, and common spaces, to redefine the quality of living. Urban farming solutions and eco-friendly energy-saving measures will also be introduced to further improve the environment with landscapes meticulously designed based on the territory’s biodiversity.

Lema worked closely with Henderson Land to invent a multifunctional wardrobe system inside the luxurious apartments - LEMA Fashion Box - not only tailor-made but also in line with Hong Kong’s lifestyle, pushing beyond the limits of spatial compositions. The biggest challenge was to maximize every millimeter available to meet the client’s needs, with 100% space customization. A teamwork successfully carried out together with Henderson Land, starting from the specific needs of the Hong Kong market and its users, studying in detail the common objects the closet would contain. For this project, LEMA actually created a wardrobe system tailored to the builder’s requirements.

The closets are all equipped with Air Cleaning System, Lema’s innovative patented sanitization device, which thanks to the interaction of nanotechnology with a special UV lamp generates a photocatalytic reaction inside the wardrobe that destroys odors, bacteria, and viruses such as SARS and Covid-19 with a natural active principle, improving the well-being of those who have them at home, reducing allergies and respiratory system disorders.

Another major challenge of this project was at the industrial level to engineer and perfect the production and assembly methods of the systems: these are closets assembled vertically, from bottom to top, taking into account the limited maneuvering spaces of construction sites in Hong Kong and optimizing the parts for overseas shipment.

Lema guided the client during assembly by creating detailed video tutorials explaining step by step how to assemble the different wardrobe systems. A meticulous job that was very successful and eliminated the error rate.
