Lema at “Red in Progress. Salone del Mobile.Milano meets Riyadh”

From 26 to 28 November 2025, Lema takes part in “Red in Progress. Salone del Mobile.Milano meets Riyadh”, the new project by the Salone del Mobile.Milano that brings to the heart of the King Abdullah Financial District a shared narrative of design, innovation, and culture. An initiative that marks another step in the dialogue between Italy and Saudi Arabia and anticipates the upcoming edition of the Salone scheduled for 2026.

Promoted with the support of the Italian Embassy in Riyadh and ICE, the event brings together over 35 Italian companies in a large immersive installation designed by the Giò Forma studio: a modular architectural landscape wrapped in a semi-transparent red fabric, symbolising energy and connection. In this context, Lema brings its Feel at Home philosophy to Riyadh, a living concept that combines craftsmanship, technology, and design culture to shape welcoming and personal spaces. Through two furniture clusters, integrated within the installation, the brand interprets two different expressions of contemporary living.

The first expresses a dialogue between lightness, functionality, and domestic spirit: the Ortis writing desk by Gabriele and Oscar Buratti, with its oval top and slender structure, reinterprets the traditional writing desk as an intimate and versatile place. Beside it, the Notch pouf by Johan Lindstén introduces an informal and dynamic note thanks to its soft shapes and natural leather straps. The second cluster, with a more architectural character, is composed of the Alton armchair by David Lopez Quincoces, hand-woven with over 200 metres of leather cord; the Plain bookcase by Francesco Rota, which creates fluid and open spaces; and the Francis side tables by Norm Architects, defined by material volumes and essential proportions.

Lema is also present in the Business Lounge designed by Lissoni & Partners, with the Miki armchairs by Pierattelli Architetture and the Sign side tables by Studio Kairos, helping to create an environment conceived as a place for meeting and cultural exchange, highlighting the importance of design as a shared experience.
