Vittorio Prato was born in Brianza in 1946. After obtaining diploma from the Istituto d’Arte di Cantù, he has been collaborating with leading Italian brands and designers since 1965. In 1976, he became a freelance consultant and designer. He was honoured at the XIII Compasso d'Oro in 1984. He designed the Sosia tables for Lema in 1995.
