Architect and designer Werner Aisslinger was born in Germany in 1964. After completing his studies at the Hochschule der Künste in Berlin, he worked as a freelancer for Ron Arad and Jasper Morrison. In 1993, he opened his own studio specialising in brand design, design concept and brand architecture. One of the figureheads of a new era of German design, Aisslinger's work is nomadic, futuristic, flexible and modular. He has worked with brands such as Vitra, Dab, Lorenz and Mercedes Benz. He designed the Wing chair for Lema in 2012.
