Yard Daybed

Daybed in leather and with metal frame

design by Francesco Rota

1960s-inspired daybed

Designed by Francesco Rota, the sophisticated Yard daybed - also available in a stunning alternative leather version with bronze painted metal base - reprises the aesthetic qualities of its sister sofa, channelling the creative styles typical of 1960s industrial design. The structure, made from fabric and leather-covered metal, is a flat surface resting on feet that creates the support for the seat cushion in a harmonious contrast that becomes its fundamental aesthetic feature.

Designed by Francesco Rota, the sophisticated Yard daybed - also available in a stunning alternative leather version with bronze painted metal base - reprises the aesthetic qualities of its sister sofa, channelling the creative styles typical of 1960s industrial design. The structure, made from fabric-covered metal, is a flat surface resting on feet secured with triangular cross-section joints. This, in turn, provides the base for the seat cushion, which simply rests on top of the structure without concealing it, thus celebrating the material contrast at the heart of this piece.
