LEMA USA
NEW YORK
CITY

In September 2018, Lema opened headquarters in New York, an office with an exposition space within The Soho Building 110 Greene St., a prestigious complex in the heart of Soho, a district that is already a reference point for high-end Made in Italy.

The space that houses the resident staff dedicated to the coverage and development of the North American market is divided into the representative office, a meeting area and a lounge area.

The choice of direct presence with a local management – as already has happened in London with the Lema UK branch founded in 2012, followed by the opening of the flagship store in 2015 – is strategic in such a decidedly dynamic market with high potential like the North American one.

Direct market presence is particularly successful in the contract sphere: New York, international hub of design and multi-units, is particularly interesting for luxury real estate, and it is, along with London, the nerve centre of creativity for international real estate development.

Lema has many close partnerships with prestigious developers who, thanks to the Soho office, are more easily supported in the management of large custom supplies, from design to installation, right up to the after-sales service. Among the first projects overseen through the new headquarters in New York, the supply of bespoke wardrobes for the prestigious 565 Broome Soho, the first residential building designed by the Renzo Piano Building Workshop in New York, for which Lema was selected as a preferred partner.

Lema’s goal through its New York headquarters is not only to be a strategic resource with consulting and design services for the professional target of architects, interior designers, contractors and developers, but also to accelerate the development of the distribution network.

In North America, Lema has been present since 2006 in major US metropolises through selected dealers in Chicago, Los Angeles, Miami, New York and Vancouver, with a relevant plan of more openings for the coming years.
