"Flaviano Capriotti was born in Bologna in 1971. With a degree in Architecture from the Milan Polytechnic, Capriotti has worked in residential and hospitality architecture since 1998. In the same year, he won the “Premio Progetto Giovane” at the XVIII Compasso D'Oro. On behalf of Citterio-Viel, he has managed projects for Bulgari Hotels & Resorts in Milan, London, Tokyo, Bali, Beijing and Shanghai, the W Hotel in Saint Petersburg and the Rivea and Mix restaurants by Alain Ducasse in London and Saint Petersburg. In 2006, he opened his own studio and designed the Mio Bar and two Michelin star VUN Andrea Aprea restaurant for the Park Hyatt Milan. He has taught and spoken at the Tsinghua Beijing University.
